Charity Carwash – Y10 Events Team

Congratulations to our Y10 Event Operations Team that organised a Charity Car Wash this afternoon. All money raised is going to the academy’s local charity, Life For A Kid.

The students are required to plan, host and review an event as part of their course. This has been a challenge as we follow current COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Not only did our Y10 students participate in the car wash, they were also in charge of a budget and ordering resources and materials, promotion and advertisement, liaising with staff to confirm consent, and preparing a Risk Assessment.

Thank you to all the staff that got involved and allowed us to use their cars for coursework evidence!
