Modeshift STARS – Bronze Award

We are delighted to announce that the academy is the first school in the area to be recognised for their work with the Modeshift STARS accreditation.

Events like Big Pedal Day and Clean Air Day, and the numerous Bike MOT services we’ve provided in the last year, help to promote sustainable travel and a healthy lifestyle.

The various initiatives helped us to raise the number of students choosing to cycle to school by over 5% (17.2%).

Thank you to all those staff that have contributed and participated. Particularly, Mr Alex Sherwood who has put the application together.
