The team were led home by Emmie-Lou Fenton in sixth place and then followed by Kirsten Young in 7th; Chloe Mastre-Bridger 9th; Lillie Benett 13th; Emily Nasser 27th; Hollie Young 33rd.

Other stand out individual performances were by Lauren McClean who came second in the Junior Girls Years 8/9 Event –an outstanding performance to be runner up.  Lauren was followed home by Jess Toner in 10th place.

It was unfortunate that Jess Taylor who had been first the previous year and recovering from injury, failed to finish the race when holding a leading position.

Jack Mortimer finished a fabulous 4th in the Junior Boys 8/9 Event –followed home by. This meant the boys had finished second overall and runners-up. A great effort!  Jack was followed home by Daniel Chadwick in 6th place; Lewis Wilkin 9th; Harry Fenton 11th; and Owen Fletcher in 14th.

Our Year 7 students competing for the first time saw Izzy Watts 10th and Libbie Manning leading home their team to an overall position third. A very creditable team effort.

The Year 7 boys were led home by Reece Shipley in 11th and Keane Pyzer in 15th and managing to finish fourth as a team.

Eighty students from the academy competed on the day with everyone doing their best as individuals and for their team and academy. Please congratulate all our students for their excellent all-round efforts.
