TEEP Ambassador School Status

[24 Nov 2014]

Sirius Academy have been awarded the status of “TEEP (Teacher Effectiveness Enhancement Programme) Ambassador” school in recognition of their commitment to TEEP. The Teacher Effectiveness Programme (TEEP) was set up in 2002 by the Gatsby Charity Foundation to develop a model of effective teaching and learning drawn from research and best practice. TEEP Ambassador School status is awarded to schools who can demonstrate a significant improvement in the quality of teaching and learning since beginning their TEEP training. They are also willing to host visitors from schools who are interested in the TEEP programme. Ambassador schools can demonstrate implementation of the TEEP framework across the organisation and will lead the continuing growth of the network of TEEP schools. All of Sirius’ teachers are TEEP trained, and they are assisted by our TEEP level 2 group. Sirius also have a team of TEEP level 3 trainers, who can train other schools in the TEEP cycle.
