We’re Off To See The Wizard!
It’s now only three weeks to go before Sirius students take the stage in their school production of The Wizard of Oz. Rehearsals are going extremely well and students had their first chance to try on some of their costumes this weekend during a green screen film shoot. Year 12 Construction and Built Environment students have been busy building the set which will magically transform the Main Hall into the Merry Old Land of Oz including Munchkinland and The Emerald City.
A huge thank you to everyone who is helping to make this production possible in particular staff who have kindly donated costumes and props. There are still few items still to source such as the Tinman’s oil can so please contact Mrs Anderson or Mrs Quillin if you have one that you would be willing to lend.
Tickets will go on sale next week in the Heartspace and the performances will be on Wednesday 2nd, Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th April – full details coming soon…
