Y9 & 10 Girls Dodgeball Champions!
The year 9 & 10 Girls Dodgeball team last night attended a tournament at Thomas Ferrens Academy to compete against other teams from around Hull.
The girls were outstanding in all their games and competed against some tough opposition.
The team finished 2nd in their group which placed them with a difficult semi-final match against Winifred Holtby A. The game went to the full 3 sets and were successful in qualifying for the finals with a last minute catch from Katie Kerrison (Y9) putting their player out of the game and us through to the final against St Mary’s College A.
The Final – undoubtedly the player of the match from her performance in the final game was Paris Turpin (Y10) who made catch after catch and strong low powerful shots which wiped their players out 1 by 1.
