Year 7 Celebrate another win!

Year 7 boys put in another excellent team performance in terrible conditions to defeat Trinity boys 8-1. Taylor Purdy providing link up play from midfield to attack throughout the game was too much for the trinity defence. Great passing from the boys put Josh Hultum on goal that could only be denied with a great save. The first goal came from the resulting corner with Owen Chaffer striking the ball from 30 yards looped in over the helpless goalkeeper. Good pressure from the front 3 of Jack Scottow, Taylor and Josh forced the keeper in to playing a poor pass and Kieran Bartlett lobbing the keeper with a great finish. With the boys dominating in the trinity half they forced another corner which allowed Ali Bostani to connect on to a great ball from Scottow.

Trinity was not going to give up putting some pressure on the Sirius defence but the excellent efforts of Tyler Hacket and Dylan Hepworth clearing the ball for Mikey Lewis with some excellent pace and footwork to smash the ball in the bottom corner. Josh Richards put in an excellent man of the match performance working great down the left and coming up with a superb cross/effort on goal which went in past the keeper! Scottow once again working well around the box with Purdy got in to a great position to slot the ball home off the post and in. Sam Tarafder also with a good finish off the post to sum up a miserable afternoon for the trinity side. There was still time left for Bongani to rebound off Tyler Hackets 30 yard strike with bongani keeping his cool and slotting home to finish the game.

Please congratulate the following year 7's: Josh Richards, Tyler Hackett, Reece Gooch, Dylan Hepworth, Owen Chaffer, Kieran Bartlett, Joe Sedman, Jack Scottow, Mikey Lewis, Taylor Purdy, Mason Lyle, Samiur Tarafder, Jay Tennison, Luke Moss, Josh hultum, Alish Bostani, Bongani Mathema, Jonathan Lambang'ombe
