Year 7 Win the League
Year 7 remain unbeaten and win their league with a 6-0 win against endeavour! On a blustery night the boys put a lot of pressure on from the beginning which forced an own goal after one minute. With the boys pressuring the endeavour players it left Tarafder to cross well in the wind which Mikey Lewis missed an open goal which was unlucky. Mikey then worked hard down the left hand side to slot the a goal in which he deserved to make it 2-0.
With the score 2-0 and the second half approaching the boys dug deep with the ever present Sami Tarafder to slot the ball after some great passing around the box. Kieron Bartlett played through a great ball through to Taylor Purdy who calmly slotted home around the keeper. Owen chaffer provided great support with the middle two of Bartlett and Sedman playing well closing everything down led to chaffer chasing superbly on to a through ball in which he fired past the keeper. With the score at 5-0 credit to the Sirius boys they didn’t give in and some more great work with Ali Bostani which he put through Taylor Purdy to score again against a helpless keeper.
