Year 9 boys football - Sirius 10 Trinity 1

After a funny start to the season with an excellent 2 – 1 win against Toll Bar in the National Cup and a shock defeat against St Marys the following day (which the boys where very disappointed with.) They bounced back to winning ways last night in awful rainy conditions, (my suit is off to the dry cleaners) with an excellent all round team performance.

Throughout the match the team played some excellent football constantly getting the ball on the floor and trying to retain possession of the ball at all times.

The goal of the match came from Martin Jude after some excellent build play involving at least 8 passes. Martin received the ball to his feet in the penalty area and with a quick neat turn produced a great shot to score.

Full credit must go to Trinty who never stopped trying and supporting each other during the match.

Goals
Alex Appleby 3 and Man of Match
Josh Jarvis 2
Adam Kelsey 2
Jack Best 1 (his first for school)
Martin Jude 1
Dom Litwinski 1

A Big thank you to Martin Smith for refereeing the game.
