Year 7 Girls Yorkshire Tag Champions !!!

Yesterday, 10 year 7 girls represented the Academy by taking part in the Yorkshire finals of Tag Rugby!

It was a red hot day and they did fantastically well to play in such heat. The girls went through the group stages by beating the Wakefield team 1-0, Leeds team 4-1 and the team from Castleford 2-0.

We then played the winners of group 2 in the final, which were Winifred Holtby from Hull. A solid performance meant that the girls were crowned winners of the Yorkshire Cup with a 4-0 victory!
