Academy Concert
On Saturday night Sirius Academy was host to a concert given by Priory Park Singers, an adult choir based at St Nicholas’ Church on Pickering road.
Over the past weeks I have been rehearsing with a small choral group as we were invited to perform with the Priory Park Singers as part of their anniversary concert and the event was well publicised in the paper and on local radio. The concert went well and the pupils who attended sang well and the concert organiser was very complimentary about those who took part and made a special point of saying what good ambassadors for the Academy they were – if you teach any of the pupils listed please pass on their thanks and congratulations.
