Academy Excellence Awards shortlist announced
The Academy is proud to announce that four of our year 11 students have made it through to the final. They are Eveanjelene Snee; Georgina Raper; Stephanie Bill; Christopher Robson.
The Academy Excellence Awards are a prestigious new student awards scheme that aims to recognise outstanding achievements.
The Awards aim to celebrate excellence and encourage academy students to aspire for success.
Nominated students had been invited to answer an essay question that had been set by academics and senior faculty staff from the University of Nottingham. The competition was in addition to the work the students have been undertaking towards their qualifications and coursework.
They will now travel to the University of Nottingham, for an inspiration day that will then be followed by a formal awards dinner in the evening.
Congratulations must also go to Paige Wilkinson, who made it to the last 10 in the technology category.
