BBC School Report at Sirius

This year, students from 8P1 EN1 collaborated on the BBC School Report. Jak, Ellie-Mae, Molly, Joseph and Jack represented the Academy and spent the day at BBC Headquarters in Salford whilst Demi, Reece and Jamie shadowed staff at BBC Humberside, working in television and radio.

Other students at the Academy got to experience the pressure of a newsroom in the Mac suite, preparing Sirius’s school report which was placed on both the school’s and BBC’s website.

The whole day was a great success and an unforgettable learning opportunity.
