British Science Week 2020 – Primary School Visits

The Academy played host to over 250 Year 5 pupils today to celebrate British Science Week 2020.
Children and staff from Ainthorpe, Christopher Pickering, Eastfield, Francis Askew, Paisley, Rokeby and Wheeler Primary Schools took part in an assortment of workshops where they were able to dissect a lambs heart and lungs, use chromatography and M&Ms to create a marbling effect and build their own rockets and launch them!
All the children literally had a ‘blast’!
