Global Enterprise Week 2016

“During one week each November, thousands of events and competitions in 160 countries inspire millions to engage in entrepreneurial activity while connecting them to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors. Powered by the Kauffman Foundation, the initiative is supported by dozens of world leaders and a network of more than 15,000 partner organizations. GEW is held November 14-20, 2016. Sirius Academy West is proud to announce that we will also be doing part. During Global Enterprise Week, students across the key stages will be taking part in a variety of events to celebrate our budding entrepreneurs in addition to our already growing Enterprise activities within our Academy.
Students will have the opportunity to take part in Enterprise Transition events with Xing smoothies, Year 8 will be attempting to ‘reclaim’ our Key Stage 3 title in the National Enterprise Competition supported by Theo Paphitus. Key Stage 4 will be taking part in the Mosaic Challenge supported by His Royal Highness Prince Charles and our fantastic Sirius College will be taking Part in the Enterprise masterclass and will be up against entrants from other universities!
Sirius Academy West works to promote the fantastic enterprise and career skills that our students have, providing opportunities such as ‘Sirius On Air’, the students’ very own radio station due to be relaunched in time for ITS 3RD BIRTHDAY! As well as The Shed which is also student run and out very own Sirius Sellers and their fantastic range of candles.
