Hull Schools Cross-Country Championships
Hull Schools Cross-Country Championships -Jess Taylor ‘Queen and City of Hull Champion!’ followed by Year 8 and 9 Girls as Team Champions!
Eighty Students represented the academy at The Hull City Cross-Country Championships on a glorious day and ideal for such an event contrary to many previous years!
We have not had official results as of yet but the star of the show was Jess Taylor who as a Year 8 student demolished a Year8/9 field to become Hull City Champion and ‘Queen of Sirius’.
Jess was followed home by Emmie-Lou Fenton 4th; Lauren Mcclean 7th;Jess Toner 9th; Chloe-Master Bridger; and Kirsten Young 14th. My calculations make the girls ‘Champions of Hull’.
I must not forget Jack Tanser who came 10th as a Year 10 in a senior race with Year 11/12/13’s in competition. An outstanding achievement! And his position is yet to be confirmed.
All our students did us proud and there were other notable performances from many of our students and these will be reported on when we receive official results.
Thank-you to Kara Stratton; Rachel Gay; and Chris Rodgers for their support.
