Hull University Open Day
Year 12 students attended the Hull University Open Day which provided a full programme of seminar presentations, including talks on how to apply to HE, careers in teaching; careers in nursing; studying medicine; Oxbridge entry, study in Scotland and student life. There was also the opportunity to take a tour of the campus with a current undergraduate student.
Students were able to speak directly with 91 exhibitors including universities, specialist colleges, professional bodies and representatives from the armed forces
Keiley, a sixth form student says, “The trip was enlightening and inspirational. It was a real eye opener into university life and covered finance, application process and the life of a student. There were loads of stalls and specialists who were able to answer all of my questions. I am glad I went and I am now really excited about the prospect of being a university student in 2013. I can’t wait”.
