Humberside Cross-Country Championships -South Hunsley School Saturday 21st
Six Sirius Academy West students represented Hull in the Humberside County Cross-Country Championships last Saturday.
The event was staged at South Hunsley on a fairly mild day and with perfect conditions for such an event.
However, it is another matter to get up early and give of your time on a Saturday morning!
Our representatives were Tegan Purdon; Lennie Ellis; Josh Mortimer; Jess Taylor; Lauren McClean; and Emmie Lou Fenton.
All our runners competed to the best of their abilities but found the going tough and up against some exceptional runners!.
Although we had no top ten finishers our students had done exceptionally well to get to the event in the first place and represent their city!
Well done to all our runners and please congratulate them for their efforts.
