National School Sport Week

The Sirius Academy joined over 15,000 other primary and secondary schools within the UK by participating in the annual National School Sport Week (Monday 28th June – Friday 2nd July). The scheme is a week-long sporting celebration that aims to raise the profile of sport among young people and promote the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The PE Department created a unique extra-curricular calendar to honour the event providing students with the opportunity to sample activities, such as, Handball, Darts, Golf, Tennis and Rounders.
