[26 Nov 2014]
A group of Sirius 6th Former students went to the City Hall on 20th November 2014 to compete in the Post-16 Global Enterprise Week Challenge.
Charlie Smith, Shona Dows, Chelsea Baynes, Jessica Moffat, Hannah Philips and Cameron Furlong produced a first-class presentation of their design for an environmentally friendly caravan for festival-goers. Their efforts were rewarded with a 1st place prize of £250 from the events sponsors, Swift Caravans.
There was fierce competition from schools and colleges from across the region including one from Hull University. In the end, Sirius were the clear and well deserved winners, impressing a panel of high profile entrepreneurs including The Apprentice’s Ruth Badger.
