[21 Oct 2012]

On Tuesday 16th October, The Sirius-ly Shakespeare theatre company took part in the ‘Shakespeare Schools Festival’ at Hull Truck Theatre. Students performed their interpretation of ‘Othello’ with originality and flair, casting the character of Iago as the master puppeteer with the rest of the company portrayed as his unwitting marionettes.

Those that saw the performance commented on the strength of the delivery of all the actors and the professionalism that they displayed. One audience member, Cheryle Smith, described their performance as “fantastic and brilliant” saying, “You could see the confidence, ability and sheer talent shine; they were a great credit”.
