Sirius travel to Derby!
Today myself and Miss Warrener took the Year 7 girls football team to the English Schools 5aside regional football finals in Derby. Due to been crowned the Hull school champions before Christmas, we travelled down to the east midlands to represent Hull in the next round.
The girls showed a great attitude throughout. Their success in the group stages (winning 2, drawing 1 and losing 3) meant that they progressed to the semi finals against the East Riding champions South Hunsley, who were just too strong for us on the day. The girls finished 4th on the day, a great achievement.
If you see them around the academy, please congratulate them for their efforts on not only represent the academy very well, but also the city of Hull!
