Sirius U.I6 Football VS Sydney Smith

The U.16 Sirius team started the defence of their title as League Champions with a home win over local rivals Sydney Smith by 3 goals to nil.

Historically, it was important moment in the life of the Academy as it was the first game on the 3G pitch – a time to remember and a win!

The boys found the pitch difficult to adjust to at first but gradually started to take charge of the game.

Goals from Liam Harris , Kieren Easter and Tom Hance ensured a good start to the campaign.

Thanks to those staff who came to support the boys and to Dean Jennings for refereeing.

Please praise the boys for their efforts.
