Table-Tennis – Individual Results
The Academy participated in the Hull Schools Individual Table-Tennis competition last night at St. Mary’s.
Jordan Garton, representing the Academy in a sporting cometition for the first time, battled through his group before being defeated in the Quarter-Finals 4-11, 6-11, 7-11.
Rebecca Taylor earned an impressive second place, making it all the way to the final and pushing her nationally ranked opponent all the way before losing out 12-14, 7-11, 8-11.
James Garrod continued his dominance with a victory in the U16s boys competition. Defeating all his opponents in the group stages, Quarter-Final, Semi-Final and Final without losing a single game.

James and Rebecca will now represent the Academy at the regional Individual Table-Tennis competition in early 2014. Please congratulate all three students on their excellent conduct and attitude throughout.
