The U13 Girls Rugby Union Team travelled to Driffield in the annual East Yorkshire Tournament
The U13 Girls Rugby Union Team travelled to Driffield in the annual East Yorkshire Tournament. In the snowy conditions the girls showed their toughness and their skill to win all three matches in the competition. It was a superb team effort with all players giving 100%! Defensively Louise Jessop was the top tackler with some big hits on the opposition. Jess Wood, Lucy Stewart and Lilly Shepherdson grew in confidence with each game and played some of their best rugby for the Academy. Chantelle Dunn was the organiser and scored some outstanding solo tries, with Tegan Purdon making good runs and great tackles. Forwards Nicole George, Leah Pearson, Talia Martinez and Ellie Davidson set the platform with some good strong runs down the middle of the park.
