Archbishop 4 Sirius 1

The U13 girls football team fought for a place in the semi-finals last night for the Hull Schools National Cup.

The team was unfortunately missing some key players such as Megan Atkinson.

The first half saw Archbishop take a 1-0 lead until Kay and Hepworth managed to dominate the attack and secure a 1-1 draw. During the second half – some strong Archbishop players added extra pressure to the Sirius defence to allow them to take a 4-1 lead. This was the first full game for the 11-aside year 7 and 8 team so please do congratulate them for their efforts.
