Under 16 Sirius Football vs St.Marys

The under 16 football team gained a narrow win by 2-1 over St.Marys.

The game was played in atrocious conditions and both teams found it difficult to deal with the extremities and having one or two key players missing!

In an even game Sirius finally broke the stalemate with a goal from Brandon Hepworth.

St.Mary’s equalised and the game became rather tense with both teams having the opportunity to win the game but all chances were squandered.

In the final minutes of the game Kieren Easter got the winning goal!

Well done to all the boys and thanks to Dean Jennings for refereeing on a miserable afternoon!

However, another League win!
