Visit from Andy Haldane, Chief Economist at the Bank of England

On Thursday 7^th March 2019, we were delighted to welcome Andy Haldane, the Chief Economist of the Bank of England. Andy and his colleagues, Helen Precious and Will Holman, visited at part of the ‘Speakers for Schools’ programme. He spent time with a group of sixth formers, discussing aspirations, before delivering a presentation to 200 Year 9 students. Students learnt about his role in the Bank of England, financial management and what success looks like.
