Wheeler Primary School – Miss Khatun’s Maths Sessions

[13 Feb 2017]

Miss Khatun’s Primary School travels has continued with regular visits to Wheeler Primary School this term. Her weekly sessions working with cohorts of pupils in an attempt to boost engagement in Maths is in addition to similar visits to Paisley Primary School and Rokeby Primary School since October.

In the final session last week the pupils had the opportunity to assume the role of the teacher and deliver a presentation on fractions and then test the rest of the group with fraction-themed questions!

Q: If a pizza has eight slices and you eat a quarter, how many slices are left?

Miss Khatun will now visit Chiltern Primary School after half-term in the final push before SATS week in May.
