Y11 BTEC Sport – Primary School Leadership

Last week our Y11 BTEC Sport students visited local Primary Schools to deliver sports activities. Students have been planning and preparing sessions as part of their course for the last few weeks, and on Monday and Wednesday had the opportunity to deliver to nearly 400 pupils at Wold Academy, Rokeby Primary School and Ainthorpe Primary School. The activities will provide some excellent evidence for their current unit as they look to meet the requirements of the course.

 

The students braved the weather to deliver fun and engaging lessons in Rugby, Netball and Football. Luckier students chose Badminton and were able to stay inside! The response from the Primary School pupils was outstanding and they can’t wait to have our leaders in again. Our students did a brilliant job and they should be very proud. Well done to all involved!
