Y6 Sporting Aptitude Testing – Sat 12th Jan 2019 (9.30am-1.30pm)
Sirius Academy West will host the annual Sporting Aptitude Testing day on Saturday 12th January 2019 (9.30am-1.30pm). This is for pupils in Year 6 that have identified us as either their first, second or third preference for Year 7 in September 2019.
The academy must rank all of these applications in accordance to our admissions policy. This ranked list needs to be returned to the local authority by Friday 18th January 2019. The Sporting Aptitude tests allow us to allocate 10% of the 290 available places to pupils that can demonstrate a high level of sporting performance. This is incredibly important for those pupils that would normally find it difficult to achieve a place in Year 7 based on their current proximity to the academy and our continued over-subscription status.
