Y6 Sporting Aptitude Testing
Sirius Academy West has now received the list of Year 6 pupils that have identified us as either their first, second or third preference for Year 7 in September 2019. We must now rank all of these applications in accordance to our admissions policy. This ranked list needs to be returned to the local authority by Friday 18th January 2019.
The academy can allocate 10% of the 290 available places to pupils that can demonstrate a high level of sporting aptitude. Formal testing for this will take place on Saturday 12th January 2019 (9.30am – 1.30pm) at Sirius Academy West in our Sports Hall. All pupils that selected Sporting Aptitude as a reason for their preference for Sirius Academy West will receive a personalised letter inviting them to attend. Only those pupils that participate will be eligible for sporting aptitude selection so attendance is essential.
