Year 11 GCSE Art students visited Whitby

[18 Mar 2015]

Year 11 GCSE Art students visited Whitby to collect primary source inspiration for their exam briefs. Students spent the fresh and blustery February day enjoying and discovering the seaside town. They had the opportunity to photograph and sketch the fishermen’s catch of the day, including a huge 80 year old lobster which caught their eye, as well as interesting spirals, textures and all things “fantastic and strange”. They were able to equip their portfolios with material from the experience, ready for a strong start in the coming exam.
