Year 11 Girls Rugby League Team – Hull Daily Mail Sports Team of the Year 2
I am delighted and proud to announce that last night the Year 11 Girls Ruby League team were crowned the Sports Team of the Year at the Hull Daily Mail Sporting Champions Awards evening at the KC Stadium. The team were shortlisted down the last three, with tough competition from National Table Tennis Champions South Hunsley U13’s and Kingston Upon Hull Hockey Club U14 Girls, but managed to come out on top and take the award. This is a great achievement for the girls and it is fantastic that their status of “National RL Champions” when they were crowned the best Rugby League team in the country last year has been recognised and rewarded.
