Year 7 Netball win the League

Please congratulate the Year 7 Netball team on WINNING the Hull School Netball League.

The girls have played a total of 12 matches and have remained UNBEATEN the whole season. The team even managed to fight off rivals St Marys in a 3-1 victory on Tuesday and the week before beat defending title holders Malet Lambert with an impressive 3-0 win.

It has been impossible for myself and Miss Spencer to pick out an outright player of the season as the as the girls have worked so well as a team. ‘Gadget Arms’ Victoria Godwin, Danielle Fulton and Ellie Smirk proved unbeatable in defence and ‘Superwoman’, Mia Duke was fierce in the centre making countless interceptions which, Jamie Watson and Emily Andrew would quickly convert into goals.
