Year 8 athletics final Results
The year 8’s competed exceptionally well in the athletics finals competition this afternoon at Ennerdale.
There was some fantastic results and the team proved to be strong in both the field and track events. This included:
1st place in the obstacle relay (Mia Husband, Katie Clarke, Alisha Pearson, Danielle Waters)
2nd place in the 4×2 lap Relay (Mia Husband, Katie Clarke, Danielle Waters & Amy Purdon)
1st (Mia Husband) and 3rd place (Amy Purdon) in the 2 lap individual events
3rd ( Danny Waters) and 1st place (Holly Bateson) in the 4 lap individual events
3rd place in the 6 lap event (Alex Kosolova)
1st place in the standing long jump (Amy Purdon)
Overall the team worked extremely hard and finished 2nd place overall with 217 points- ,only 3 points from 1st position!
