Year 8 Sirius Quad Kids Athletics Reach Humber Finals!
The academy was represented by four teams at the Hull Schools Quad Kids Athletics Championships at Costello Stadium which included girls and boys from Year 7 and 8.
Each team were represented by four boys and four girls who all had to complete in four events -100m; 800m; Long Jump; and Vortex Throw.
Our representatives were:-

All four teams competed individually against each other as a school and then individual scores accumulated to a team result.
From ten schools entered we finished runners-up on the day to Kelvin by a miniscule 20 points However, it meant that both schools qualified to represent Hull in the Humber Finals in July.
There were some outstanding individual results especially from some of the girls with Mia Duke in 1st place of all girl athletes represented; Kayleifh Waller 3rd;Molly Bigby 11th; Ellie Cone 12th; Jodie Kerr 15th;
Luke Moss 21st of all boys.
The strength of the girls performance was the main factor in enabling the team to succeed.
Well done to all athletes who represented the academy.
