Year 9 Rugby team into Yorkshire Semi-Finals!
The Sirius Academy Year 9 Rugby League team are through into the Yorkshire Plate semi-finals after a comprehensive 58-4 win over Heckmondwike Grammer (Kirklees) in their Quarter-Final tie. The team played some excellent tries, using their attack well however they know a sterner test will come in the semi-final stage which will see them travel away.
The team scored regular tries throughout the match with Tyler Hackett leading the way with a hat-trick, followed by the strong running Declan Jackson who crossed for 2 tries. Further tries were added by Mikey Lewis, Joseph Sedman, Reece Gooch, Dylan Hepworth, Jack Arnett and Jordan Wornor with Lewis kicking three goals, Kieran Bartlett and Jackson adding others.
