Year 9 Sports Leaders Visit Acre Heads Primary School
A group of five sports leaders attended Acre Heads Primary School today to support with a Mega Street Sports Day involving the entire school. Gabriella Robertson, Declan Longley, Phoebe Armstrong, Jessica Toner and Jessica Taylor took over from year one and two teachers for the morning and lead 4 different classes back to back. The group delivered an array of excited parashoot activities which they planned themselves earlier in the week. This included classics such as ‘Cat and Mouse’ and ‘Popcorn’ which the children thoroughly enjoyed playing. The leaders showed an excellent rapport with the children throughout the session, praising them and rewarding them with stickers. They represented the Academy in superb manner so should be extremely proud of themselves. Please congratulate them if you pass them in the Academy.
