On Monday 23 March 2020 the school will be closed to all pupils with the exception of those whose parents have contacted us that are eligible to continue to send their children in to be cared for by our staff.
I would like to provide reassurance that we are taking all precautionary measures in safeguarding pupils at Sirius Academy West to avoid possible infection of the Covid-19 virus.
Thank you to those staff that have already shown an interest in our Personal Development Pathway, launched the Pledges with their students and provided them with the opportunity to start completing their Pledge Passports.
This past Tuesday we had a fantastic visit from award winning author Andy Mulligan. He began the morning with an inspiring talk, captivating students with fascinating stories and offering great insight into the life of a published author.
Previous Yorkshire Science & Technology Challenge Day winners, Amelia Ehlert and Jake Wallace, travelled to Sheffield on Wednesday 8th January 2020 to represent the region in the North and North East STEM Challenge Final at University of Sheffield.
