Year 9 Rugby Girls win all 6 games to qualify for the Yorkshire Competition as top seed from Hull
The Year 8 Girls National Finalists from last year started their Year 9 rugby journey yesterday when they played in the Yorkshire Qualifying tournament, where 6 schools took part.
Year 8 Girls through to Yorkshire Finals as top seed in Hull after beating Archbishop Sentamu
Only two schools turned up to the Year 8 Girls tournament, so it ended up in a 40 minute game between Archbishop Sentamu and Sirius Academy West to see who would go through to the Yorkshire Finals in March as the top seed.
Year 7 Girls Qualify for Yorkshire Stages of the Schools Rugby Competition
Last night the Year 7 girls played in their first ever rugby tournament, they won 2 games and lost 1 meaning that they finished in 2nd place and qualify for the Yorkshire Competition in March.
On Friday afternoon the last remaining year group to represent Sirius Academy West in the National Cup made their furthest away journey to date, up the M62 to take on Minsthorpe Community College in the 5th round of the Y7 National Cup.
