Congratulations to our World Book Day winners! In March the academy hosted an event to celebrate World Book Day and provided pupils in our local Primary Schools with the chance to create their own short story.
Year 8 Girls win Semi Final to make it through to National RL Final!!!!
The Year 8 Girls played in Warrington yesterday in the Semi Final of the National RL Schools Competition and in a very close game, they managed to bear St Peters from Manchester in extra time – golden point.
After only practicing for two weeks, we took a selection of trampolinist to compete in their first ever hull active schools trampolining championships.
The Year 7 Girls played in the Hull Schools Cup Competition last night at Craven Park and finished in second place after winning two games and losing one.
Sirius West Year 9 Girls – Hull Schools RL Champions
Only Sirius Academy West and Sirius Academy North could raise a team for the Year 9 Girls Hull Schools RL Tournament at Craven Park last night, but what a game it was as the two Sirius sides battled it out to see who would become Champions of Hull.
We have 3 boys from Sirius Academy West who have been selected to play in the East v West Year 9 Hull Schools Select match – Lennie Ellis, Macauley Medlam and Sam Hassard.
Sirius Academy Year 8 Girls runners up in Yorkshire Cup Final
After beating Castleford Academy in the Yorkshire semi final last month, the girls played current National Champions Corpus Christie in the Yorkshire Cup Final at Featherstone Rovers RLFC last night.
